I think a spiritual journey is not so much a journey of discovery. It's a journey of recovery. It's a journey of uncovering your own inner nature. It's already there.

What a trip to French Polynesia Would mean to me:
For me, spirituality is a multi-faceted concept that is subjective to each individual experiencing it. I find that spirituality for me is brought out in experiences with other people, and my own self growth expansion. Being able to experience self growth for me is like experiencing true freedom. This topic is very important to me. I strongly believe by engaging on this trip to the French Polynesian islands I have the opportunity to grow as a person, and to increase the strength of my friendships with Jordan & Sahyl. The motto of these islands is "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity".
I feel a strong connection to this motto since I am pursuing self growth( freedom) which relates to their motto of Liberty, and I am allowing my friendships to develop as well which relates to their motto of Fraternity.
Equality is something I engage in on a daily basis in my student nursing practice, and being able to go to French Polynesia to experience this equality, and communality would bolster my own career growth.
My travel partners and I are like-minded individuals, who enjoy having a good time. This trip would yield personal growth for us, and provide a perfect canvas for us to enjoy a tropical paradise, an experience I have yet to be a part of.
Friendship is strength, and successfully being able to spend 10 days with two friends will only increase that strength. After this trip I hope to come back stronger socially, and personally.
